Can I start if I can’t read Arabic at all?
Start with Noorani Qaida. It teaches the letters and sounds. Then you move on to this course.
Can adults learn to read the Quran?
Yes. Lessons are one-to-one and private, so you start at your own level and ask any question.
How long does it take to learn to read the Quran?
It depends on your starting level, how often you have class, and how much you practice between lessons. Even 15 minutes a day helps more than one long session a week. In your 3 free classes, your teacher checks your level and tells you honestly what to expect. We don’t promise a fixed number of weeks, because every student is different.
Is this the same as the Tajweed course?
No. This course helps you read smoothly and accurately. Tajweed teaches the rules for reciting correctly. Most students do this course first.
What do I need to join?
A phone, tablet, laptop or computer with internet, and a physical or digital copy of the Quran. Classes run on Zoom, Teams or Skype, and our team helps you set up.
Can my daughter learn with a female teacher?
Yes. Ask for one when you book.
How often are classes?
